Traffic is the term used when you receive visitors to your site. For instance if I get 30,000 visitors to my site that means I get "high traffic" however if I get 10 maybe 15 visitors daily I then get "low traffic".
But getting high traffic isn't everything! Because it is no use getting 1000s and 1000s of daily visitors that spend a maximum of 10 seconds on your site because they are obviously not very interested. You want targeted traffic. You want the people who are interested in what you are showing them. I would rather have 10-15 visitors that have interest and are potential buyers of my products than 30,000 visitors that are there for a few seconds as there is more chance of them buying my product.
